Koru Lodge offers spacious, self-contained Raglan accommodation nestled in beautiful Whale Bay. The lodge features four two-bedroom apartments, each spread over two levels with fully equipped kitchens, private deck space, and relaxing spa pools (available in all apartments except the studio). Guests can unwind on the large shared lawn — perfect for soaking up Raglan’s coastal atmosphere.
We also offer a cozy studio unit, ideal for solo travellers or couples, or as an additional bedroom when booked alongside one of the apartments.
Just a short walk from Whale Bay and Indicators, two of Raglan’s world-class surf breaks, Koru Lodge is perfectly positioned for surfers and ocean lovers alike. Manu Bay is only 12 minutes away on foot—or just a couple of minutes by car.
Tucked between native bush and the sea, our location offers a true sense of escape while remaining only a 12-minute drive from Raglan township, where you’ll find great cafés, restaurants, and local shops.

Meet Your Hosts
We’re Bethany and Jaco — originally from the United States and Chile, now happily calling Raglan, New Zealand home with our two young sons. Jaco is a passionate surfer who loves Raglan’s legendary waves, while Bethany teaches yoga in Raglan and can often be found outdoors or at The Space Yoga Studio. We love the relaxed coastal lifestyle we’ve built here and enjoy sharing local insights and tips with our guests at Koru Lodge Whale Bay.
